more Helgoland
Despite the northerly winds there were many interesting birds. Besides the Collared Flycatcher we saw 2 Greenish Warblers (including 1 singing at Grosse Treppe), Osprey, Hobby, Black Guillemot, Pied Wagtail, a female Bluethroat, Crossbill and several Hawfinches. On one of the days the the bushes were entertaining with many Redstarts, Flycatchers and Willow Warblers. A small ticking bunting flying over Kringel surely was a Little Bunting but it will not make it into the Jahresbericht.
